Joseph is sold as a slave in Egypt. He earns the trust of his master and God's blesses others through Joseph. Joseph also overcomes sexual temptations and maintains integrity in his relationship with God and with others.

Family Feud
We begin a new series looking at the life of Joseph. 17 year old Joseph is favored by his father, but despised by his 11 brothers. This leads to envy, hatred, and murderous thoughts. Joseph soon finds himself a slave in a foreign land, having been betrayed by his own brothers. And yet, we see that God's hand of providence works to fulfill God's plans despite the evil intentions of the brothers.

The Trinitarian Life
Genesis 1:1-3, 26-27 and Colossians 1:15-20 On Trinity Sunday we delve into the inner being of the Godhead, lifting up the biblical truths that God is One, that the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Spirit is God. The Trinitarian life consists of being shaped by the God who is by nature loving, communal, transparent, humble, and full of joy.

Grow
What kind of environment does it take to create spiritual growth? “‘…neither do I condemn you,’ Jesus declared. ‘Go now and leave your life of sin.’” John 8:11 Jesus offered the woman caught in adultery grace and forgiveness as well as truth, hope, and an opportunity for transformation and growth. We should create a "growing" community where people intentionally seek to grow and encourage others to do likewise.

Never Lose Hope
Hebrews 10:23-25 We are called to honestly confront the truth of the darkness of our human predicament, yet to hold unswervingly to the reality of the hope in Jesus Christ. May we never lose hope and create a community where others find hope in Jesus.

All in the Mix
Matthew 13 24-30 Jesus declared that we should live with weeds and wheat all mixed up. We desire to create a "Come as you are" environment in the church where we accept people rather than judge them. Then within such a community we will grow fruit.

The Great Banquet - Luke 14
God's grace abounds for all people. Jesus tells the religious leaders how God invites all to the Great Banquet, but the invitation must be accepted. We who follow Christ have the privilege of extending the invitation to everyone to join God's family.
