Spirit Fire Series Had Enough of Doing it Your Way? Accept a Guide Christ Followers are led by the Holy Spirit "For Those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God". (Romans 8:14) 1. Christ followers can pray to be led by the Spirit. 2. Those who are led by the Spirit are not going their own way. 3. The Superior one is doing the leading. 4. To be lead by the Spirit does not mean being carried. How does the Holy Spirit lead us? "The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's Children." (Romans 8:16) 1. By an inward witness that is God's Spirit communicating with our human spirit. (Acts 27:9, 10) 2. By an inward voice that is the "lamp of the LORD" shedding light on our conscience. "The human spirit is the lamp of the LORD that sheds light on one's inmost being." (Proverbs 20:27) " I speak the truth in Christ-I am not lying. my conscience confirms it though the Holy Spirit." (Romans 9:1) 3. By wordless groans of Spirit intercession that help us in our weakness to know the will of God. (Romans 8:26, 27) What does the voice of the Holy Spirit sound like? 1. Inspired Word of God. ( 2 Timothy 3:16) 2. Word of Wisdom. (Acts 15:13) 3. Word of Knowledge. Peter - "Ananias, why did you lie to the Holy Spirit?" (Acts 5:3) 4. Prophetic Guidance. (Acts 21:8-14) 5. Visions and Dreams. (Acts 10:19)

It must never be poured on the body of an ordinary person, and you must never make any of it for yourselves. It is holy and you must treat it as holy. Exodus 30 The Four Anointings 1. The Leper Anointing (Leviticus 14:17,18) 2. The Priest Anointing (Exodus 40:13; Leviticus 8:12,30) 3. The Prophet Anointing (1 Kings 19:16) 4. The King Anointing (1 Samuel 16:13) Accept the power and authority of your anointing. (2 Corinthians 1:21; 1 John 2:27) Accept the measure of your anointing. (1 Samuel 13:8-14) Jesus had the Spirit without measure (John 4:34) We have a measure of the Spirit. (Ephesians 4:7) The “Body of Christ” has the full anointing. (Ephesians 4) To the degree we function with Christ as our Head and the Body under Him in unity we experience this same anointing. Yokes will be lifted because of the anointing. (Isaiah 10:27) You can’t turn it on and you can’t turn it off. (John 3:8)
