Sermons About Stay-the-course
Farewell to CBC
In this message Pastor Jeremy says goodbye to Community Baptist Church by first pointing out that change can be good and bad, but in the life of the Christian, change should always ultimately lead to progress in the Christian walk. Finally, he calls on the people of Community Baptist Church to stay the course, fight the fight, and run the race.

Staying the Course
We must remain constant and unchanging in our pursuit of changing. Characteristics of People who stay the course: 1. They are engaged in a ongoing pursuit of God 2. They understand ownership. 3. They realize that current experience and opinion may have little apparent relevance to what is ultimately taking place 4. Their decisions are not based on the probability of success. Characteristics of people who have plateaued: 1. They decide when they are close enough 2. God isn't doing much more in their lives. 3. Its someone else’s fault 4. They change their goals rather than change their ways. Are you staying the course or have you plateaued?
