The Word of God and Me
The Word of God cannot be duplicated by man. God himself has given us distinct directives for living. If we invest in the word, we will profit from it because it is a tool for instruction, points out our errors, and restores our brokeness. God will bless us as we study His word each day.

Is the Living Word the Last Word?
The Bible continues to be a revered book in the United States. In fact, no other book comes close to having been read and re-read as much as the "Good Book". Every year, millions of Bibles are printed in this country, so many that even rough estimates of the total number published to date do not exist. How do we use the Bible and what do we know about it? Spirituality and Wisdom
Paul challenges Corinthian Christ-followers to look around the church and observe that those most esteemed by the world are strangely absent in the church. By and large, the church is not composed of wise men, scholars, and debaters of the day. The church is not made up of the cultural elite. In I Cor 1:26-31, Paul urges them to look around the church to see who is present. The church is not made up of the upper crust of society but rather the rejected and despised of society. Of course there are exceptions, but the rule is clear. The world regards God’s wisdom as foolish because it is incapable of comprehending or accepting His truth. God’s wisdom is a mystery which outsiders cannot grasp, and no one would have known apart from divine revelation.

A Day With God - The Morning Hours
Whether or not you're a morning person, it's important to start the day off by having some time with God through prayer and then hearing from Him through His word. And before we start our busy day we need to hand the day over to Him so we can have His leading, strength and power.

Acts 17:1-15 - A Tale of Two Synagogues
Paul’s missionary journey brought him to the cities of Thessalonica and Berea. In these cities he first went to the synagogue and taught how the Messiah that was promised in Scripture is Jesus. Luke commends the people in Berea because they listened to Paul’s teaching and then checked it against Scripture to make sure that Paul’s words were faithful to what was written. We should be like the Bereans and come to the Bible in humility and with a willingness to be challenged and stretched and study God’s word to learn more about Him and how we should change to live like Him.
