Real Biblical Faith Will be Vindicated in the Victorious Lives of God's People
Real, Biblical, saving faith is vindicated in the victorious lives of God's people. This is going to be broken down into two sub points that I will deal with this morning. In the victorious Christian life there is much testing. There are many days of walking through the valley of difficulty and trouble in order to finally achieve that mountaintop of success. That mountaintop of success will be the final vindication of faith by God in Heaven. And in the Christian life there are several paths that God may call us to follow on our path to that mountaintop.

Biblical Principals for Success
Everyone wants to be successful at the things that they try to do in this life and the books written on how to be more successful are too numerous to count. The Bible calls us to strive for success as God defines it, not as the world defines it, and the story of David defeating Goliath is an excellent example of success achieved God’s way. David knew that the specific purpose of his life, as it is for the rest of us, was to proclaim and demonstrate the greatness of God to those around him. David also knew that God had been preparing him for success in this battle through the previous fights that God had brought him through. David acknowledged that it was God who gave him the means to be successful and not his own strength and ability. David had also thought through the obstacles he might face and had a plan for overcoming them.

Our Response to Life
Everyone has things in their lives that keep them from being all they could be. Sometimes we need more than our own skill and experience to overcome those things. We need power. The kind of power that comes from God. Jesus said this kind of power only comes through prayer. Not the reactive, popcorn prayers that we're all good at, but the proactive prayers of people who are in a vibrant relationship with God.
