Fleshing out the Gospel - Mark 1:21-34
Jesus Fleshes out the Gospel. In Mark 1:21-34 Jesus teaches His disciples that the Gospel of God should be: 1. Declared Powerfully – vs. 21-28 2. Incarnated Personally – vs. 29-34
What Happened at Baptism?
How do you view baptism. Is it a ritual? Is it a Church Doctrine? What takes place in the water when people are baptized? It does not save you, but it is the start of your walk with Christ. It is the outward showing of what is happening in the heart. You HAVE to turn away from your old life and start living according to God's Word (Galatians 5:16-18)

A Spiritual Building
Every Christian has a labor of building in regards to his or her fellow believers. The importance of what we add to each other is addressed by Paul in this chapter.
We Are Sealed To Be Clothed
Many churches do ministry day in day out without the Power of God. They have a great drama program, put up an awesome show for those who come to see it and may have a successful out-reach program. But they do it all in there own power. They did not wait to move till the power of the Spirit came upon them (Luke 24:49). Are you waiting patiently for His Power to come over you or did you also move out on your own?
That You Might Have Certainty
How can we be certain of the truth of Jesus Christ? We claim and believe it, but how can we be certain? Because we ARE God's beloved. Just as Luke did all his research for Theopilus, whose name is "God's beloved". In other words Luke did this for us, Christ followers. If you do not believe that Jesus is your Savior, God's Word will be nonsense to you. But for all "God's beloved" it is all we believe with certainty!
