An Inexpressible Joy
In the book of 1 Peter the Apostle reminds his readers that our salvation is neither obtained of ourselves nor maintained of ourselves. We are reminded that the source of our Joy is in our savior and our salvation. When we face trials, we need to remember that God has a purpose and will in time bring honor, glory, and praise to Jesus Christ our king.

The Purer Our Faith, The More Pleasing Our Praise
God has his hand on the thermostat and his hand on the timer. He knows how hot it should be and how long it should be. When we're in the fire or our trial, you can rest assured that there's a sovereign God that knows how hot it should be and how long you should be in it. The purer our faith, the more pleasing our praise is to him. That's the reason for fires and trials.

Faith during times of pain, trial and brokeness isn't the ability to see where you're going in the storm. Faith never knows where it is going, but it knows and loves the One who is leading.. Only then are we able to welcome whatever "weather" God may allow us to go through.
