As the New Year approaches, we all ought to desire to see and know God better. In the Bible we find exactly what God desired to reveal. When we rightly read the Scripture we come to adore God, confess our need for him, thank Jesus for his work on our behalf, and ask the Spirit to help us joyfully obey.
What is the meaning of Christmas? It tells us something radical about God - transcendent, wholly other from the universe yet incarnate as a human being. It calls us to enter into the world of others through sacrificial service.
Paul concludes his letter to the Ephesian church by telling them to be strong in the Lord. As Christians we can either see ourselves as too weak to fight the fight of faith or too strong. Listen as pastor Lance Parrott calls us to find our strength in the Lord by putting on the armor of God.
