Stewardship of Treasure
God calls us to be stewards of our time, talent, and our treasure. In this last message in our Mosaic series, we look at what it means to steward our treasure. This message is a specific challenge for people to consider giving toward the launch of this new church - Soma Church Community.

Expansion Project
God is glorified when we are obedient to his commands, including his command to give, and especially when we give sacrificially. Giving is a work of grace that we are to pursue. The grace of giving benefits us by laying up treasure in heaven, helping us to mortify materialism and covetousness, and by allowing us to partner in the gospel.

Wealth & Poverty
Scriptures view of wealth and poverty simply cannot be squeezed into our contemporary economic options. We must recognize not only the dangers of wealth, but also the great potential that wealth brings for caring for the poor and needy. And while we realize that poverty can be the result of sloth, Proverbs reminds us that the rich have a responsibility to care for the poor.

Everything on the Earth belongs to God, and He has given us our possessions as gifts, so we should worship Him with these gifts by managing them well and giving them freely towards His kingdom. We should not give out of guilt but instead we should pray about how much we should give and then cheerfully contribute to God’s work.
