Your Gifts Matter
It's so easy to feel like we don't matter in a church the size of Mission. But the Apostle Paul challenges us that each one of us does matter and that if we don't 'get' that, Christ's Church suffers. Listen to the claims made by Paul and ask yourself: "What if these claims are true?" If they are, you'll want to jump in with God's people and change the world!
re:think Prayer
Religion is pooled human ignorance that is played out for a human audience. In contrast, true Christian spirituality is handed down by our Lord in order to be lived out for an audience of one. The power of prayer will transform our lives and our world, and Jesus teaches us how to pray.

Christians struggle with a rebel heart. Remnants of the brokenness of the flesh and influenced by the ways of the world. This leads to rebellion against authorities, government, taxes and God. God has a better way. Romans 13 points us to God's way.

Distortion: Standing Tall, Falling Hard
Upper Story: This reality is that God loves us and wants to have an exclusive relationship with us. God want’s this for two reasons: 1) He made us 2) As our Maker He knows anything other than an exclusive relationship will bring harm to us. In the Lower Story there is the adversary. Satan lives to distort reality. He knows that if he get us to live within his distortion two results will happen: 1) We are weakened 2) We divide our loyalty between God and sinful nature

Part 3. To be part of God's family, He deposits Himself within us. This opens us to a new world and four doors that open us to the heavenly life.
How well is your hearing?
We are called to hear, follow and obey Christ. To do this, we need to rightly hear with the ears of our hearts, not just logically accept what Christ has to say. Jesus teaches of four soils that we can become after hearing the truth of His word. Those who hear well will be like the good soil, living transformed lives that bear good fruit and shine the radiant light of Christ's love to the world!
