The Feast of Pentecost Pentecost is about the gift of God the Holy Spirit to Christ's Church and all who believe in Christ. As we accept Christ as Lord and Savior, God the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within the inner most depths of our souls. It is the fulfillment of the promise, Emmanuel, God is with us. But it is more for we are never alone. Nor our we left to our own devices and desire. As we chose to yield to God the Holy Spirit, we become more like Christ. HIs mercy and grace are reflected in us and through our lives.
