Conventional to Intentional
We have often relied on mission's "conventions" to do the work for us. But it is time to transition where we begin to do missions intentionally instead of merely conventionally.

Information to Relational
When it came to meeting our basic needs, God didn’t give us information, He gave us a relationship. In the same manner, Jesus in preparing to send his disciples into the world to impact the world didn’t promise more information, He promised a relationship and stressed how important their relationship to one another was to their success. In the past, we have sought to transform people by informing people. However, real transformation is the result of relationships.

Moving Anywhere But There
Transitions in all of life are inevitable. Transitions with God are difficult for us because we generally cannot see where or to what we are to transition to. God may take us out of our current dilemma, however He often moves us on into a more difficult situation. When God comes to help us and He in turn brings us (in our opinion) into a worse situation than where we were, it creates a problem for us. Why would God, who is sovereign, allow or orchestrate such a situation. Unless, of course, God is up to something we cannot understand.

Music Style to Lifestyle
“I am going to worship” usually means that someone is going to a place to engage in an activity. Now days, more often than not, that activity (called worship) is characterized by being either traditional or contemporary in terms of style. But God's favorite style of worship style is a lifestyle. Every moment of every day is an opportunity to worship for the true worshiper. It is an opportunity to live life in a way that expresses God as the ultimate and premier value in life.
