We Study to Remain Faithful
As children begin to grow up, parents have many questions. The most important question ought to be - "Will they remain faithful?" In 1 Thessalonians it is clear to see "this church" was a great one...yet Paul was still concerned that they remain faithful. Why? Because, "It is for the faith and the faithfulness of others that we exist as the Body of Christ." (quote by Shawn Lindsay of Ozark Christian College - guest preacher this morning; Ozark is a mission New Life supports regularly).

A Leap of Faith To live a life of peace

Sacred Joy: Philippians 1.12-18
As we continue in Paul's letter to the church at Philippi we see he speaks of suffering. Paul experienced various trials throughout his ministry. For Paul and the writers of Scripture suffering was not a strange thing, but normal. According to Paul suffering is a gift from God for the advancement of the gospel of Christ. Often trials impede our progress in our walk with Christ. Paul saw trials as those which brought even greater progress to the advancement of the gospel. So how do you respond to suffering? For Paul, he rejoices because through such Christ is proclaimed.

Strength Test
The book of James is basic, entry-level, in-your-face Christianity. A real workout. Nothing fancy. No glamor-cize at the club. Just crunches, push-ups, and heavy bag work in a smelly basement gym. If you are up to the challenge, James will shape you into a hard-body believer. During this series, Fit Faith, we’ll tackle some of the most practical teaching outside of the gospels. James was known as "James the Just", someone who put his faith into practice in a real and practical way. James will stretch us to grasp the importance of putting our faith into action as described in God's word. Are you ready to get fit?
