No King But....?
As we look closely at Jesus' trial in John 19, it was not He who was demonstrating guilt but those who had brought Him there. The pharisees and the officers of the Temple were committing the treason of which they accused Him to Pilate. Only rather than Caesar, they were committing treason against God Himself! We often consider our circumstances and forget our own allegiance to God. As with the Jews and Pilate who both had their issues to deal with, we too can get caught up in the moment, make rash decisions and even deny our God in the process. It is at these times that our true colors show. How do you handle your trials in life?

A Leap Of Faith to Follow Jesus No Matter what
This life is full of surprises. We never know what is around the next corner. Are you following Christ no matter what happens in your life? Many of us live a roller coaster. We go up and down as life takes us. God is calling us to follow him no matter what. Do you follow him when no one else is around? Paul and Silas sang in prison, Daniel never wavered in the midst of the trials he faced. Are you willing to follow Jesus through the valleys of this life? No matter how severe these trials, temptations and valleys are they can not separate us from his love. Are you willing to follow Christ no matter what?

The Need of Consolation; 3. The Beliver's Desire in Consolation; and 4. The Testimony of Consolation.
