The Gift (Pt. 3 - Look Past the Wrapping)
Too often, our expectations can set us up for disappointment and disillusionment. When it comes to God, we often have expectations of how we think He should work in our lives if we love Him. But God's ways are not our ways, and many times, the greatest gifts and blessings God is giving us are not wrapped in pretty or even desirable packages. If we don't look past the wrapping, we'll miss the gift entirely.

The God of All Comfort
We serve the God of all comfort. There are many of us today, that know what it means to suffer. God will never leave us or forsake us. He is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. Even when we are the bottom God will not leave us or forsake us. If we are looking for it we will see him working. The God of all comfort has saved us through the cross. He has provided a place of refuge that we could not earn or ask for. Have you trusted our God of all Comfort?
