Is God Fair?
To God there is no difference between a Jew & a Gentile. They are both under judgement. What advantage, then, is there in being a Jew? Does unfaithfulness nullify God's faithfulness? Because Unfaithfulness Stinks
The preeminent obstacle to faithfulness to God in all things is my faithfulness to myself above all things. In this passage, Jesus aggressively attacks the Pharisees because they love themselves more than they love God. That is clearly seen in their unfaithfulness with their money, in their unfaithfulness to God’s Word and in the justification of unfaithfulness in marriage. Unfaithfulness is a stench in the nostrils of God.
