Everybody loved him. God loved David, the women loved David, and the men who were with him loved him.
Last Sunday we looked at Malachi 2:10-16 and what it said of unfaithfulness, the sin of divorce and how God hates divorce but loves divorcees.
Endeavouring to keep the Unity in spirit in the bond of peace in the families and in the House of GOD Should be joined in spirit together with one another What are causes that would affect the oneness in spirit and how should we be to maintain the oneness in spirit 1. Unfaithfulness in spirit - should be faithful 2. Despising in spirit - honouring one another in spirit 3. Selfishness in spirit - Sacrificial 4. Being rebellious or egoistic in spirit but obliging one another 5. Carnally minded but should be spiritually minded
Jesus, who bore the curse for us, also works thru us to call wayward Christians and churches back to faithfulness.
To God there is no difference between a Jew & a Gentile. They are both under judgement. What advantage, then, is there in being a Jew? Does unfaithfulness nullify God's faithfulness? God can bring good things out of bad. God will prevail when He is judged. If man's unrighteousness magnifies Gode's righteousness, is God an unjust judge? Christians will one da participate in judging.
The preeminent obstacle to faithfulness to God in all things is my faithfulness to myself above all things. In this passage, Jesus aggressively attacks the Pharisees because they love themselves more than they love God. That is clearly seen in their unfaithfulness with their money, in their unfaithfulness to Godâ€™s Word and in the justification of unfaithfulness in marriage. Unfaithfulness is a stench in the nostrils of God.
