Sermons About Unlovable
A Leap of Faith to Love those that seem unlovable
We are continuing our series on taking a leap of faith in our lives. I believe that God is calling us to take a leap of faith to love those that seem unlovable. In order to take this leap we must know the love of our savior. It is only with his grace, love, and compassion that we will be able to love those that seem unlovable. We are all lost without Christ. God is Holy, Righteous ,and perfect. We are sinners that make mistakes all the time. Jesus died for us on the cross because we were not perfect. God loves those that seem unlovable shouldn't we?

Loving the Hard to Love
G.K. Chesterton once noted that children's fairy tales actually teach grown up lessons. His favorite was Beauty And The Beast because it teaches that the "unlovely must be deeply loved before they become lovable." This is a profound truth! We can apply this! We all have plenty of unlovelys so to speak in our own lives. How do we actually love the unlovely? That is where a special Bible word comes in... a Greek word for Love that is almost impossible to find outside the Greek New Testament! That word is Agape! Unconditional, unprovoked, stubborn Love!
