When People Differ - Build Up the Body
When people in the body differ over matters which God has approved, those who are "strong" must be sensitive to those who are "weak," choosing to restrain their own liberty for the sake of building up the body. There is no room in the church to insist on your own way, particularly when it might cause someone to stumble into sin and be destroyed.

Alternate Outlook
When facing Goliath, David's unique perspective allows him to focus on the bigness of God instead of the stature of the giant before him. Compared to God's might, Goliath is puny and weak. So when we question how we could possibly do anything to remedy the problems of the world, we need only to realize that our God is plenty big and plenty strong to defeat the giants we confront.
