Sermons About Wealth
The Lord's Money and The Lord's Heart
The Bible is very clear that everything on earth, including all of the world's wealth, belongs to God. We are, therefore, stewards (managers) of all that God gives us. In order to be good stewards, we have to learn what is on God's heart for our money and then use it in that way.

Peasant Wealth Baby
So, there they were. A bunch of homeless refugees who had been given permission to return to their homeland. Things were bad. They were really bad. The temple had been destroyed 70 years before; the wall to the city had been destroyed; the glory of the Lord had left from them. They had no hope; no future. Then something miraculous happened. A prophet named Haggai stood up. He made a bold statement: "God says you will be okay." That was it. A word from the Lord, now? After all this chaos and trouble? Didn't he abandon us a generation ago? Does he really still care about us? Haggai promised that God had plans for the Israelites, and was on a mission to restore the human race to peace. That peace is now here. And now is the time to take heart. Now is the time to work to rebuild the wall and the temple, and your lives. God is with us, now.

Pastor Kristian looks at how these three things help us understand our role in joining God in renewing and restoring a broken world, especially in regards to the issue of human sex trafficking.

Kingdom Stewardship - #8
Pastor Stan continues our series on Kingdom Come with a message about Kingdom Stewardship. Pulling from Mark 12, he teaches real life lessons about the "rich poor woman" who gives all that she has, and the "poor rich man" who is told he has to sell everything. Stan gives us warnings about wealth, and that one of the best ways to keep from being possessed by our possessions is to give them away.

A Grateful and Acceptable Worship
My purpose for preaching this passage is to show us all that we are to not react as spoiled children to our temporal circumstances but rather we need to know how we are to react to a glorious heavenly reality of an unshakeable kingdom.
