Mother Knows Best
Mother’s Day celebration is always an important event here at Bible Church International because we believe that the Lord has blessed us with many wonderful mothers who deserve to be applauded for all the selfless sacrifices that they do for their children. Every time we celebrate Mother’s Day as a church, I’m really hoping that we are setting an example for all the families we have here at church. By this I mean, the celebration should start here then every family should go and celebrate later.
When it doesn't look promising
God's promise is too much to believe. God promised Abram land, descendants and blessing and He has fulfilled ALL promises to us in Jesus. We are blessed. But sometimes it doesn't look promising, even in the promised land.
Priority One: Love
In an age where the family is in danger of extinction, Love cries out. Can you hear her? Do you want her to be a part of your life? Will you let her restore? Love is the answer.
Building A Strong Family
Husbands: Love your wife - as Christ loved the church. Wives: Invite your husband to lead by submitting to his leadership.
The Christian Household
The passage at the end of Ephesians 5 is the most direct instructions about the roles of different members of the household. Paul, continuing his instructions on living a life worthy of our calling (Eph. 4:1), gives instruction to the Ephesian Christians about how the household and its members should conduct themselves in relation to each other. The traditional view of marriage and roles is upheld. A complementary view of the role of men/women is supported. The interdependence of the family to grow in the grace of Christ and serve the Lord is the goal.
The Sexually Satisfied Church
Some married Corinthians bought into the lie of ascetism and thought they were too spiritual for sex. Paul corrects this misguided notion and challenges them to get it on.
The Cruciformed Woman
What does the cross mean for todays woman? It means defining who she is. Answering cultures question of who or what is a woman
