Sacred Parenting: Culture
Each family is designed to be a culture with a languauge, customs, traditions and many unspoken assumptions. God has made the world in such a way that children who grow up in the culture of the family are to be shaped and molded by it. So what is shaping your children? Is the culture of the home shaping them or is the outside culture influences taken primacy when it comes to shaping your children? This week we will be encouraged to shape our children according to the standards of God's Word.

Grow [a journey towards Christlikeness]: The Word
Spiritual growth has many components to it. But, at least three of those components are essential. In order to be a healthy growing Christian, a person must be vitally connected to the Word of God, the Community of God, and the Spirit of God. Cultivating intimacy with all three is critical. Lack in any of these areas stunts our growth. In this message, we look at the centrality and necessity of the Word in the life of a believer as they are transformed into the image of Christ.

Partying that Provokes
The reason we struggle so mightily with joy and celebration is because we have forgotten. We have forgotten what God is like. We have forgotten how good He is. We have forgotten how merciful He is. We have forgotten how He’s rescued us. We have forgotten that He is a God of great joy. We have forgotten that He loves to be with us. We have forgotten that we are grafted into this family: we are children of Abraham because we believe in Christ and we are to pick up His same heart of celebration and rejoicing.
