Sometimes Christians can be foolish. Let’s be honest it is true. Paul addresses the foolishness in the churches of Galatia longing for the spell to be broken. As we continue our study today of Galatians we venture into chapter three. We pray that the spirit of God would be awakened in your life.

STAY IN LOVE WITH GOD: Worship

Fellowship of Joy: A Study in Philippians, 2:12-20
We need to continue in obedience to God by not just proclaiming the gospel, but living it out in community! When we are living out the gospel, with the proper respect for God, we will live that out in community in respect and honor for one another. The only way we can truly work “Out†(Outward) our salvation, is to do so in community. We cannot love without the other! We cannot forgive and ask forgiveness without the other. We cannot work through disputes and grumbling without the other. We have our families, church communities, work-space, etc. to work this mess out. Our faith is never about us and God alone. It is connected to our life!

Galatians 2.15-21: Justification
As we continue our study in the book of Galatians we answer the following question: how can one be made right before God? We find the answer in what is called the doctrine of justification. Martin Luther claimed that if the doctrine of justification is lost, the whole of Christian doctrine is lost. Justification remains a vital doctrine today, even if many are not sure what it means. May we know and understand what it means to be justified.

Faith That Works Part 2
For the believer, having Christ as your personal Savior is only the beginning. It is one thing to talk about having faith and a love for Christ, but the evidence that this faith is real is our behavior, not what we say. Many of the problems Christians face are a result of spiritual immaturity; problems in personal lives, in homes and in churches. If Christians would just grow up, they would become victors instead of victims! God has given us His blueprint for maturity in the Epistle of James. Come “grow†with us as Pastor John leads the way through this study of the book of James.

Biblical Faith is an Obedient Faith
The obedience that accompanies biblical faith will always be a two edged sword. One edge will show the world and the church that we indeed are legitimate believers and heirs of righteousness and the other edge will heap condemnation on the unbelieving world. In other words it is important how you live.

Galatians 1.6-9: No Other Gospel
Paul is astonished at how quickly and easily the Galatians are being led astray to another gospel, which is no gospel at all. He proclaims that their is one unchanging gospel and one who teaches a different gospel, rejecting the true gospel is to cursed.
