Psalm 119 is an alpha acrostic poem that captures the psalmist commitment to the Lord and his recognition of its importance in his life. 119:105 "Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path" is often quoted as the key verse of the psalm. In this sermon we looked at a small portion of the psalm 119:41-56 and looked at how the psalmist makes affirmations to the Lord, requests to the Lord and the results that came about as a result of ordering his life according to the Light of God's Word. God's Word provides the framework, values and suppositions of how he sees and orders his world. It shapes his worldview.
