Sermons About Worth
You Are Worth Something
This sermon reminds us of how much we are worth because of what Jesus did for us. We are valuable, we are glorious, we are worth something not because of what we have done, but because of what God has done. It is an encouragment for those who are down, depressed, or lacking self-esteem.

The Fullness Of Worship
To worship the God of the Bible is to worship pure goodness, greatness, beauty, justice, wisdom and perfect love. In that sense God is absolutely worthy of our worship and to worship him is simply to see who he really is, what is at the heart of all of life and reality, to enjoy and celebrate a relationship with God and respond in a way that is healthy and life-giving for us.

The Worth Of Worship
The word "worship" comes from an old English word meaning "worthship". True worship is to see what God is worth and to give him what he is worth; to see and take to heart his worth in such a way that your whole person is engaged in a response.

Playing on those early statements we find the apostle Paul clarify the relationship between a husband and a wife. But his statements have great significance for all our relationships.

Valuing Humanity
The culmination of God's creative activity is the creation of humanity in his own image. We reflect what God is like all the way down to the level of our gender. The question we have to wrestle with is, "Does God love me because of what I do or does God love me just because I'm me?" The answer that emerges in the Scriptures beginning in Genesis is that God loves us because he created us, end of story.
