In order to be effective standing "between" we must first stand "before" God to develop the intimacy necessary to fulfill this role as "Intercessor".

God speaks to what He's called us to do & not our current conditions in life. If we're not where we need to be, He will cause us to reposition ourselves to get us in line with what we need to be doing. Our conditions in life have already been dealt with at the cross.
Plato wrote an interesting story regarding people in chains in a cave playing games with a false reality created from manufactured truths. Then one of those people broke free and got out of the cave instantly impacted by the light and transformed. What would happen when that person went back into the cave to free his peers. Would they receive him? Or would the judge him for his "experience" and label him dangerous. You cannot ignore this teaching. Get the PDF with it.
