Following Herod the Great came the growth, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Yeshua the Messiah. Shortly after the ascension came the war between Michael and Satan. Then came 70 A.D., the time of trouble. The symbol of the resurrection points to a number of truths and events.
From the time we are young we are taught to get ready: Get ready for school, Get ready for the game, Get ready for work, Get ready for marriage. Many do this well, yet leave out what is most important – Get ready for Eternity! Our passage informs us about what is next on God’s big agenda and gives us some hints as to what we must do to be ready!
