The 10th Plague comes to kill all the firstborn in Egypt. This was not an explainable act of nature, it was God Himself enacting a Day of Judgment upon the land. The judgement was limited and temporary, as was the provision. As God moves His people out of Egypt what did we learn? That the debt remained and that there was need of a more permanent provision.

Punishment is painful and so we all try to avoid it. But the best way to avoid punishment is to do the things that keep you from it. In Exodus we learn of the great punishment of Passover. God sent an angel of death to kill all the firstborn of Egypt. It is one of the most important events in all of world history. – and in it we can learn how we can avoid punishment.
God takes what we have in our hands and uses it, if we make it available to Him. God has called you as a Christian--He has a mission He wants you to accomplish in your life and you must use your assets to do so.

God has called us to freedom and to participate with Him in freeing others. We are not qualified in and of ourselves to do what God is asking of us, but He will work great miracles when we lay down whatever we have in our hands.
