Toward the end of their time in the wilderness, the Israelites once again found themselves in the desert desperately needing water. As He had before, God provided for their needs. However, Moses got into trouble with God over how he didn't quite follow God's instructions on this matter. What, exactly, was Moses' sin in this instance?

The reason that I want to talk about this subject is not because of what I want from you, but what I want for you. I can tell you from my own experience how giving deeply tests my faith in God, and how amazing it has been to see God be true to his Word as He works in ways that are surprising and encouraging. Giving like few other things in a person’s spiritual life makes faith in God real.
God set up a plan of relationship with Him from the very beginning. It's time to learn how to approach God. Our prayers will be answered when we approach God in the right manner. We can enter into His presence when we approach God correctly. It's easy to have relationship with God when you know what He desires from you. The attitude we approach God in determines the outcome of our relationship with Him. What qualities move the heart of God? Hoe do we get God to commune with us? To understand what makes God give ear to us, we must understand the covenant of salt.
Just as Aaron alone intentionally obeyed after experiencing God’s mercy and understanding the needs of his community, we are to follow his model and be messengers of reconciliation to our community today.
