A. PERFECTION 

 

Leviticus 21: 16-21 

16 

And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 17 "Speak to Aaron, saying: 'No man of your descendants in succeeding 

generations, who has any defect, may approach to offer the bread of his God. 18 For any man who has a defect 

shall not approach: a man blind or lame, who has a marred face or any limb too long, 19 a man who has a broken 

foot or broken hand, 20 or is a hunchback or a dwarf, or a man who has a defect in his eye, or eczema or scab, or 

is a eunuch. 21 No man of the descendants of Aaron the priest, who has a defect, shall come near to offer the 

offerings made by fire to the LORD. He has a defect; he shall not come near to offer the bread of his God.  

 

Matthew 5: 48 

Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.  

 

 

1. Gift of Righteousness 

 

Romans 5: 17 

For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of 

grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)  

 

Romans 4: 20-22 

20 

  He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to 

God, 21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. 22 And therefore 

"IT WAS ACCOUNTED TO HIM FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS."  

 

II Corinthians 5:21 

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Philippians 3:9 

and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through 

faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; 

 

 faith fight which matures one 

Hebrews 5: 13 

For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe.

B. GLORY AND BEAUTY 

 

Revelation 1: 6

o Blue  - majesty 

o Purple  - authority 

o Scarlet  - redemption / grace 

o White  - purity/ holiness 

o Gold  - glory 

 

2. Clothes 

      

 Ephod – responsibility, spiritual (nation on shoulders) 

 12 stones – affection & passion for manifold wisdom 

(Exodus 28:15-21; I Peter 4:10; Ephesians 3:10) 

 Seamless (blue / purple): wholeness; worship; integrity 

 Four cornered cloth – universal kingdom (great commission) 

 Cap / hat – new life / beginnings / vision (flower-shaped) 

 Sash (gold) – the glory & authority of service 

 Pomegranates – God’s provision 

 Bells – praise & thanksgiving 

(Psalm 100:4) 

 Urim & thummim – inquiring skill 

(I Samuel 23:2) 

 Linen garments & undergarments – the REST  

(Matthew 11:28-29; Hebrews 4:10-11) 

 Barefooted – fear of God / reverence
