We've All ... Been There & Said That
Psalm 22

I. We've All Lived In The Skin Of Psalm 22.

      A.  We've all asked why.

      B.  We've all sensed God was far away and had
           forsaken us .

      C.  At times, we've all regarded our prayers as unheard.

II.  The Character of God Keeps Hope Alive. Psalm 22:3

    A.  Suffering puts a strain on our faith.  Psalm 22:1-2

    B.  We can draw some bad conclusions while in the dark.
           Psalm  22:24

    C.  Faith musters courage to persevere and leave the
           providence with God.  Psalm 22:19

III.  Psalm 22 Prophetically Anticipates
     The Passion Of Christ.

    A.  Our Lord was forsaken by the Father so we could be
          saved. 

    B.  Worship is the shared spoils of what Christ
          completed at the cross.   Psalm  22:22-31
