Sermon Cloud

God provided the law to his people. His law has many functions; first, it is a gift, to guide us in a way of living that pleases him and which is actually best for us. Second, the law shows us what sin is, exposing our sin. But more than this, our sin is provoked by the law, since we desire to do whatever is forbidden. But God did not leave us in sin; he also gave us the law to more greatly display his grace. Sin is revealed by the law, but grace is revealed even more.
