Soaring
The "Soaring" ride at Disney's Epcot takes riders on an exhilarating flight simulation over mountains, forests, and oceans. On Easter Sunday, we soar in spirit as Jesus rises in triumph over sin, death, and hell. Despite the overwhelming problems facing our world at present, because of what Jesus has done, we are not helpless victims caught in an endless downward spiral in life. Through Jesus' death and resurrection, we are more than conquerors. Through Jesus, we can soar in the midst of life's problems, and find our joy in his victory.

The Wound of Denial
Through silence and inaction, we have shunned Jesus for the same reasons as Peter: to avoid being denied by others. We strike our Lord with the wound of denial. Jesus carries this wound to the cross, where he becomes the outcast for us.
