Eph 2:1-3 Dead in Transgressions
Two questions are raised from Eph 2:1... a) was I born innocent? and b) am I really that bad? We consider from v2 how apart from Christ we are under a triple deadness: under the flesh, the world, and the devil. Finally in v3 we focus on the parallel statements "sons of disobedience" with "children of wrath" to understand the totality of our deadness and the connection between disobedience and God's wrath.
