Discussion Questions

1. Read Malachi 3:6-12.  This section begins with a declaration about God (v6) and call from God (v7) – what does each tell you about God?  What does each mean to you personally?
2. How do the people respond (v7, 8)?  How is their lack of giving like ‘robbing’ God?  Would it be any different for us?
3. Jesus said, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also”.  How would you put this principle into your own words?  What does your handling of money show about your heart?
4. In the message we looked at four questions (What does money show about my heart?  What about the ‘tithe’?  What about my needs?  How can I get this heart?). Which of these most challenged or encouraged you and why?
5. What will you do to apply this call to give?
