- Read Mark 1. Mark mentions it briefly – what do you think it was like when Jesus called out, "Follow me" (v16-20)?
- How does Jesus' call of, "Follow me" begin to form community?
- What lessons can we draw from these early accounts of Jesus with his followers (1:29-31; 2:13-15; 3:13-15)?
- How has your journey of following Jesus been impacted by connections or community with others?
- What will you do now, through this fall season, to engage with others in the journey of following Jesus?
