“Structure, Leadership, Followership and the Church”
Colossians 1:24-29
Key Verse: “Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I do my share on behalf of His body (which is the church) in filling up that which is lacking in Christ's afflictions. Of this church I was made a minister according to the stewardship from God bestowed on me for your benefit, that I might fully carry out the preaching of the word of God.” Colossians 1:24-25 (NAS)
“If the local church is to act out its God-appointed role, it must first fulfill four conditions. It must understand itself (the theology of the church), organize itself (the structure of the church), express itself (the message of the church), and be itself (the life of the church). John R.W. Stott
