On September 14, we finished out our series on Paul's letter to the Colossians. "Jesus, the Church and the American Dream" has been a series that has challenged us to live out the Story of the Kingdom of God's Beloved Son in the midst of the story of the American Dream. On this Sunday, we heard from several of our people who are trying to live faithfully to the Christ story in the midst of careers and professional pursuits. We concluded the discussion with a Declaration of Subversion written by Pastor JR Vassar.
