We will look at Hebrews 10.19-25 this week. In this Scripture we are encouraged by the sacred love of Christ to boldly and actively live in a growing, love relationship both with God and other believers even amidst the pressures of life in this world.

Sacred Love: John 13 Maundy Thursday
On this night we look back to the Lord’s Last Supper. Maundy Thursday, gets its name from the Latin word mandatum —commandment, remembering Jesus’ words to the Apostles during the Last Supper, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another” (John 13:34). The last supper and the dealings of Christ surrounding this meal and especially following it displays the complete love of Jesus.

This is not just any lamb but the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, who takes away the sin of the world.
