Set Apart / Be A Leader Who Is Led By God

Follow the Leader

God wants the impact you make on this earth to be far reaching and beyond what you can see right now

2 Corinthians 12:9

9Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.

2 Timothy 2:20

20In a wealthy home some utensils are made of gold and silver, and some are made of wood and clay. The expensive utensils are used for special occasions, and the cheap ones are for everyday use.

2 Timothy 2:21

21If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.

2 Timothy 2:22

22Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts.

2 Timothy 2:23

23Again I say, don’t get involved in foolish, ignorant arguments that only start fights. 24A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people. 25Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the truth

Point # 1:  God wants to use you in spite of your shortcomings

Point # 2:  Though the prerequisite to being used by God is Grace – The prerequisite to walking in the fullness of God’s power and anointing is Purity.

Verse 22-26 Paul points out some of the things that lead us to a life of purity.
