The Lord Reveals His Mercy and Justice (Gen 18:16-33

As Abraham and the Lord carry on theirconversation, we first learn that God reveals his plans to his children when it is good and useful to do so. The Disciples' Prayer (Part 1) (Matt 6:9-10)

The single most common area of spiritual life that Christians struggle with is probably prayer. In these verses, Jesus begins to teach us how we are to pray by focusing our attention upon God and his glory. The Tomb and the Gardener (John 20:11-18)

The resurrection of Jesus is part of the central message of the Bible and so the Scripture has much to say about it. As we examine one portion of Scripture we shall see some of the historical background of the death and resurrection of Jesus. Then, with the help of some other passages of Scripture, we shall see what bearing the resurrection of Christ has on us. First, we must understand Jesus as being the second Adam, and then we must see him as the promise of our own resurrection and new life.
