The Reformed Doctrine of Vocation

William Tyndale said, "While the washing of dishes and preaching the word of God are different human activities, as touching to please God, there is no difference." Any legitimate calling can become a spiritual service to the Lord. Luther said that "Household chores may not seem to have any religious value, but they are greater than all the works of monks and nuns." As we study this doctrine of vocation from our passage, the first thing we are going to look at is: I. God's Providence in Our Vocation II. God's Purpose in Our Vocation III. God's Presence in Our Vocation
