Diligently Hearken To The Voice!

DILIGENTLY HEARKEN TO THE VOICE! (Healing School) – Father God wants us healed, healthy and whole. He desires “shalom” (completeness, wholeness, nothing-broken-nothing-missing) for each of His beloved children. How do we experience and walk in this shalom? Did you know that “hearing” is a key, vital part of it all – not only what you hear but also how you hear? In the great Covenant promise where Yahweh-Rapha tells us, “I AM the LORD l that healeth thee” it begins by instructing us to “diligently hearken”(Ex. 15:26). The Bible tells us that, "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God" (Rom. 10:17).The people came to Jesus to “hear and be healed.”

The Anointing With Oil

THE ANOINTING WITH OIL! (Yahweh-Rohi) – Our Shepherd Lord desires to “anoint our heads with oil” for certain reasons. What are these reasons? What is the purpose of the anointing? In fact, what is the anointing? And, how does it work? What is it for? This Sunday, we’ll look at 4 Kinds of People, 3 Major Enemies, and God's 3-fold Application of the Anointing and much more.

Jesus, The Triumphal Entry and The Money-Changers

JESUS, THE TRIUMPHAL ENTRY & THE MONEY-CHANGERS – Palm Sunday is celebrated around the world. What can the Scriptures teach us in relation to this event that applies to our present-day lives? It turns out, a lot! The Scriptures, as always, are full of relevant and timely truths to help us live our lives in a way that is pleasing to God. Come join us! This account is one of the few places where the Gospels record that Jesus' glory is recognized on earth. Jesus boldly rode as the King of peace, and the crowd gladly joined him. But these same people would bow to political pressure and desert him in just a few days. Today we celebrate this event on Palm Sunday. That day should remind us to guard against superficial acclaim for Christ. (Life Application Study Bible) “If the Lord Jesus were to show up in our house of worship, what changes would He make?” (Warren Wiersbe)

Be Strong In The Lord

BE STRONG IN THE LORD! – According to numerous Scriptures, Christianity is intended to be lived from a position of strength (God's strength in our human weakness). We are to “pass through” the Valley of Baca (Weeping) and we are to go “from strength to strength” (Ps. 84:5-6)! How do we do this? What are the Biblical keys? And, what place does “joy” play in it? Why does God tell us to “be strong in the Lord”? What does that entail? Find out this Sunday, you don’t want to miss it! Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. (Isaiah 12:2-3) Unrelenting disappointment leaves you heartsick, but a sudden good break can turn life around. (Proverbs 13:12, The Message)
