A STUDY OF DIVINE HEALING – An Examination of 1 Peter 2:24

To receive divine healing from God it is important that we have revelation knowledge of His Word (Romans 10:17), as opposed to man’s opinions, theories, or traditions (Mark 7:7-8). Some would say that 1 Peter 2:24, “by Jesus’ stripes you were healed” is only speaking of “spiritual” healing and not physical healing. But what do the Scriptures say and clearly teach? Join us for another powerful session of Healing School! “These Scriptures make it certain that Christ made provision in His atonement for the bodies of His followers. Healing for the body is manifestly a Gospel provision; and its Author alone can revoke it. Of course, unbelief will deprive any individual of this Gospel provision.” (The Worrell New Testament) Expanded translation of Matthew 8:17& I Peter 2:24: “Jesus Himself laid hold of, received, accepted and took (in order to carry away and remove) our feebleness of body and mind, our disease, infirmity, sickness, frailty and weakness, and Jesus carried away, removed, took up, bore and lifted with the idea of removal our maladies, disabilities, diseases, infirmities and sicknesses... and by His bleeding stripe, His bruise, His wound we were healed, cured and made whole.”

From Strength to Strength

GOING FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH! - There’s a kind of person, a certain kind of Christian, who “passes through Baca” – the Valley of Weeping and Tears. In fact, they actually go from “strength to strength”! How do they do it? What do they do? What are the Biblical principles? People often do not realize that Christianity is supposed to be lived from a position of strength, not weakness (actually supernatural strength in our human weakness). Find out how this Sunday. We’ll look at 7 key principles! Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. (Ephesians 6:10) In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides]. (Amplified Bible)

A Study of Divine Healing: An Examination of Matthew 8:17

A STUDY OF DIVINE HEALING: An Examination of Matthew 8:17– Some would say that physical healing is not in Christ's atoning work on the Cross. But… what do the Scriptures say? After all, that’s what counts. God's Word is the final authority. When you study the Scriptures for themselves it becomes very clear: God's will is healing and health. Join us as we study the Word of God on this vital and important subject. It could change your life! “Physical healing is part of the redemptive work of Christ. Both death and sickness originated with sin and are now being propagated by Satan. Healing is provided as part of Christ’s atonement and is part of the children’s bread and their promised right by virtue of redemption. It is part of salvation for the Hebrew and Greek words for salvation all imply the ideas of forgiveness, healing, health and full deliverance from the curse. Healing can naturally be expected as part of the infinite care of God over His children. God has provided all necessary means of healing and complete defeat of satanic powers. Healing is always the will of God for His people. It is clear in Scripture that bodily healing is provided for in the Old and New Testaments. The New Testament is based upon “better promises” than the Old Testament (Hebrews 8:6).” -(Dake’s Reference Bible)

Passing Through Baca

PASSING THROUGH BACA! – Baca is a valley of weeping, tears, trouble, frustration. We all go through Baca at one time or another. Every one of us faces tough challenges, difficult times, opposition, tests, trials, temptations, criticism, betrayal in this life. What do we do? God tells us to “turn it into a well,” to “pass on through” and go “from strength to strength”! How do we do this? This Sunday, we’ll look at “How to turn the Valley of Baca/Weeping into a well and place of springs.” Don’t miss it! Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you. Blessed are those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools. They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion. (Psalm 84:4-7)

A Study of Divine Healing: An Examination of Isaiah 53:4-5 Pt 2

A STUDY OF DIVINE HEALING: An Examination of Isaiah 53:4-5– Some would say that physical healing is not in Christ's atoning work on the Cross. But… what do the Scriptures say? After all, that’s what counts. God's Word is the final authority. When you study the Scriptures for themselves it becomes very clear: God's will is healing and health. Join us as we study the Word of God on this vital and important subject. It could change your life! “However you see Jesus in the 53rdof Isaiah, you are seeing Him in the last 24 hours of His earthly life, bearing whatever is spoken so the reader need not bear them.” (C. H. Spurgeon) “He was made sick for men as He was made sin for them. The idea is that He became the sick offering as well as the sin offering for man… He did not personally experience all the sicknesses and diseases, but He became sick in the sense of becoming an offering for sickness. He made atonement for sin and all its effects. Both sin and sickness were a part of the one curse, and both became a part of the one redemption. Christ atoned for and made provision for sickness to be healed, as well as for sin to be forgiven. (Dake’s Reference Bible)
