What About Paul's Thorn In The Flesh?

What About Paul’s “Thorn in the Flesh”? What was the thorn in the flesh? Did God really refuse to answer Paul’s prayer? What does this passage have to say to us – and not say to us – today? Men’s teachings have led many to believe that it must be God's will for some, or many, to be sick. But… “What saith the Scriptures”? We must guard against men’s religious traditions. Knowledge of the Truth sets us free (John 8:31-32). Find out more… find freedom… find revelation! So for the sake of your tradition (the rules handed down by your forefathers), you have set aside the Word of God [depriving it of force and authority and making it of no effect]. – Jesus, Mt. 15:6 (Amplified) Because of your traditions you have destroyed the authority of God's word. (God’s Word Translation)

After The Holy Spirit

AFTER THE HOLY SPIRIT... – What could there be “after the Holy Spirit”? What does God have in store for us? How many Christians are frustrated with the lack of power in their lives? What are the key “Principles of Power”? Would you agree that we all need a life-changing encounter with the Spirit? “You cannot do God's work without God's power." - John R. Rice "Many Christians estimate difficulty in the light of their own resources, and thus they attempt very little and they always fail. All giants have been weak men who did great things for God because they reckoned on His power and presence to be with them." -HudsonTaylor

But Not With God

“But Not With God!” (Healing School) - People will say, “There’s nothing that can be done… It’s too late… It’s incurable… It’s impossible...” But not with God! “Everything is possible with God!" (Jesus - Mark 9:23; 10:27) It’s possible for God to reach into any situation - your situation - and touch, heal, deliver and set free. The One who created us can easily repair us. Come this evening and get your faith built up in a miracle-working, healing, delivering, all-things-are-possible God. “We are dull of comprehension because we so often let the cares of this world blind our eyes; but if we can be open to God, we shall see that He has a greater plan for us in the future than we have ever seen in the past. It is God’s delight to make possible to us that which seems impossible, and when we reach a place where He alone has right of way, then all the things that have been misty and misunderstood are cleared up.” (Smith Wigglesworth, Faith That Prevails)

All Things Are Possible

“All Things Are Possible” (Healing School)– People say,“Well, there’s nothing that can be done… It’s too late… It’s incurable…There’s nothing we can do…”However… that doesn’t mean nothing can be done! Jesus said,“Anything is possible if a person believes… Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God!”(Mark 9:23; 10:27) We need our faith built up in a miracle-working, healing, delivering, all-things-are-possible God. Come and find out more! “We are dull of comprehension because we so often let the cares of this world blind our eyes; but if we can be open to God, we shall that He has a greater plan for us in the future than we have ever seen in the past. It is God’s delight to make possible to us that which seems impossible, and when we reach a place where He alone has right of way, then all the things that have been misty and misunderstood are cleared up.” (Smith Wigglesworth, Faith That Prevails)

Power From On High

POWER FROM ON HIGH! – When Jesus ascended into Heaven, He did not leave us helpless. He sent power from on high! How well do you know the Person of the Holy Spirit? How is your prayer life? Could you use more power in your life? Join us this Sunday… “Powerful. When is the last time someone used that word to describe you? It doesn’t make sense that Almighty God would have children characterized by fear and insecurity. He put His Spirit in us so we could be known for our power (Acts 1:8; 2 Tim. 1:7). Sadly, most believers and churches are known for talent or intellect rather than supernatural power. What’s worse is that we’re okay with it. Could it be that we’ve forgotten the One who distinguishes us from every religion and cult in the world?” (Francis Chan, Forgotten God) “Both the public ministry of Jesus in the Gospels and the public ministry of the church in Acts begin with a life-changing encounter with the Spirit… The Book of Acts is the story of the disciples receiving what Jesus received in order to do what Jesus did.” (Spirit-filled Life Study Bible)
