John 21:1-23

1.   Shame is a result of our failures.

Through the life of Peter we see:

• The place of failure
• The pain of failure
• The price of failure

     Our failure involves our:

• Choices
• Companions
• Consequences

2.   Shame is removed through the words of a faithful friend.

Jesus:

• Found him
• Fed him
• Freed him

3.   Shame is reversed through an obedient future.

This reversal involves a life of:

• Service
• Surrender
• Selflessness
