Basic argument structure

1. The Problem: There are divisions
   1. Divided because of a love of:

                                                               i.      Wisdom

                                                             ii.      Position/Power

2. The Solution: The Cross is God’s Placarded Wisdom
   1. The Wisdom of God is contrary to the World
   2. The World doesn’t have the Mind of God and is being wiped away
3. The Examples: The Apostles
   1. Who preached (reason Church was dividing)

                                                               i.      Either do deserve the praise and are part of the foolishness of the world getting wiped away

                                                             ii.      Or Relied on God’s wisdom (so they don’t deserve praise)

   2. Who were to be despised as Christ
   3. Who are the mold for the Corinthian Church
4. Therefore: Divisions make no sense
   1. It goes outside of the Scriptural bounds of the World’s wisdom and God’s wisdom
   2. It reflects a boast in something that was given
