Shirking religion in favour of Jesus

I have a question for you. Do you ever feel like you've got pretty tired about the religion, but you're not prepared to dismiss your thirst for a relationship with your creator? Our world and community is full of people seeking spirituality but rejecting religion for the simple reason that they have experienced it firsthand!
This ‘Re:Jesus' series is an examination in the midst of a multitudes of options why the person of Jesus is the unparalleled transcendent of any one religion and a light for all.

Religion uses rules to force our steps, guilt to keep us in line, and rituals to remind us of our failure to live up to those rules. In doing this, religion adds more weight to those who are already burdened with life's hardships. But Jesus offers us the rest we are searching for.
