Sermon Cloud

The title of this sermon may appear somewhat provocative; our Baptist friends whom we have made endure this morning the so-called "baptism" of an infant may well be thinking to themselves: that's right - infant baptism is a load of rubbish. Now I want to say at the outset of this sermon that despite the fact that I have some bold things to say today, so far as I can see, the overall thrust of what I want to say should not necessarily offend anyone of Baptist convictions. Our subject today is not baptism in itself, rather it is something deeper, something on which I hope all of us will agree.
